Convert waist, inseam & international sizes
Waist: Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape comfortably loose.
Inseam: Measure from the crotch to the bottom of the leg (or use pants that fit well).
Measure around your natural waistline, which is the narrowest part of your torso, typically just above the belly button. Keep the tape measure comfortably loose, not too tight.
US men's pants sizes are based on waist measurement in inches (e.g., 32, 34). EU sizes use a different numbering system, typically adding 16 to the US size. For example, US 32 equals approximately EU 48.
Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg on a pair of pants that fit well. Alternatively, measure from your crotch down to where you want the pants to end. Common inseam lengths are 30, 32, and 34 inches.
